Paris Attacks Update: One of the cars of the terrorists who carried out the attacks in Paris had Belgian plate number. That claim several witnesses. The Belgian Ministry of the Interior announced that they are currently investigating but gives no further comment.
Carmela Uranga, a 47-year-old British with two young daughters, lives nearby restaurant Le Petit Cambodge and Café Le Carillon where the first terror attack took place. When she heard those “terrifying sounds”, she went to look at the window. What she saw in the Rue Bichat (Bichat street) shocked her.
She said, “people were running everywhere and then I saw bodies lying on the streets. It was surreal. I still can not believe it. I live in this wonderful, lively, actually a small village in central Paris. And I looked at dead bodies scattered around!”
Uranga just below her window saw two men get in a suspected “getaway car”. She thinks they were the perpetrators of the massacre. “It was a black car with Belgian plates, with a driver and a passenger. The latter I could see clearly. He seemed very young, only 18, certainly not older than 20. I have no doubt that they were the shooters. They were very calm. Another car blocked access to the street so that they could drive off smoothly. This was a well-prepared attack.”
According to French police, Cambodian restaurant had fourteen dead and another twelve in the nearby Café Le Carillon.
