On a rescue mission

DZIQ 990 AMPilipinas Online – Bantay OCW host Ms. Susan K and I discussed our rescue mission for our OFW in Saudi Arabia, Ms. Noemi E. who is being physically abused, locked up and maltreated by employers. She works seven days a week – no day off. Passport, working permit and cellphone were confiscated. We will do everything to bring her home to her families in the Philippines the soonest possible time.

Mrs. Ivanne Yabut-Colak of Warabi, Saitama, Japan and Ms. Cath De la Cruz of Muntinlupa City, Philippines are sending their thanks to our program for the assistance given to them last week on solving their DFA issues.

Our deepest condolences to the families of our good friend Mr. Gil Esguerra, batchmate Mrs. Jackie Jacinto Guevara (University of the East Caloocan High School Batch ’78) and Mina-Alpe for the death of their beloved mothers. Our condolences also to our classmate Ms. Liberty Buenaventura for the death of her brother Arturo Buenaventura, Jr. from Longos, Malabon City, Philippines. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

220,000 travelers departing from Zaventem Brussels airport

DZIQ 990 AMZaventem Brussels Airport in Belgium will be dealing with 220,000 passengers for the Easter holidays or 6 percent increase than last year. The airport therefore warns travelers to be on time. Airport’s busiest or peak hours are between 7 and 10 am and between 4 and 7 pm. Those who takes a European flight, the best is 2 hours before departure and for an intercontinental flight, three hours earlier.
